OK I am getting annoyed

joe user cannot preview a template, can generate fine. Here is the error:

The following error occured while creating file /.iwmnt/default/main/sps/internal/sps_online/WORKAREA/spso/zz_tst_ra2320_0_manifest:
No permission to write file.
The templated file was not generated.

However I can create that file if I so desire (logged in as joe user). If I use iwgen and the hard path (/iwmnt.../workarea) I get the same permission denied but if I use a relative path (../../../../test.shtml) to the same spot it works.

the user is a member of the group who is sharing the workarea

I checked all of the permissions from /iwmnt on down & everything looks fine.

I have no frigging clue

RESOLVED

user had previewed in workarea 1, which created and deleted the preview file. The dir change never was promoted to Staging & the preview name zz_manifiest_NAME_NUMBER could not be reused. TST was not smart enough to increment the number ot the next.

promoting the deleted files from list modified fixed the problem

I am going to try to create a repeatable test case & log it with support.
