cannot delete/copy multiple files

Hi,

If I try to delete multiple files by selecting them and choosing file-> delete,it goes to a screen asking me if I'm sure,I click ok and then nothing happen. It stays on the blank screen. If I go back in the WORKAREA,it has only deleted one file.

I found this error in the servletd_out.log

Maybe, LiveSite typically needs DataDeploy.

That error gets posted when you try the delete ? You have confirmed that they are not two separate issues ?

In belgium I can name it 3differents ways as there is 3national languages and so 3differents name for it...but yeah I should use the english name...my rebel side surely.

That I agree with, it does not make sense. That was why I asked about DAS, because DAS would do this on an event like a copy/delete. LS should not.

How about my other question, is it possible that there are 2 separate events ? Have you verified that the error happen exactly when the copy/move happens ? (tail -f will help if you are using *nix)

It's a great way to loose tourists in the country and making the economy work ... your on the highway going to 'bergen' and then pouf the road panel does not says bergen anymore but 'mons' depending in wich part of this gigantic contry you are in.

as soon as I confirm the delete for exemple,it deletes the first file ,launches the error in the log and never delete the second file nor refresh the blank page.

It looks like you're going to need OpenDeploy.

Read the "Runtime Environment" section in the "LiveSite Guide". It indicates what "must be installed on the runtime environment system".

Also, depending on how you installed LiveSite, the documentation also talks about a "post-installation script".

Look at "Manually Adding a LiveSite Database" in the same manual. There's a "db.enabled=true" line that you may be able to change to false.

I have no idea in wich order they've installed it...maybe not the correct one

Out of curiosity - do you have any iwat trigger scripts on your system (run iwlsat to find out) - perhaps someone tried to configure DAS at one point and managed to get the trigger scripts installed without the supporting application?
