Job Specification File and Workflow XML file

Job Specification File gets createdwhen a job is instantiated. Then WOrkflow XML file is created, which has workflowinformation as its root element, workflow as the first elemebnt under root element and then rest of the elements are all taskid elements.
Whats the name of this file ?
WHen doe sthis file get created ?
whats the default location, where this file is generated ?
Does the next job created in the system appends its xml file to existing xml file or are all files separately created ?

I tred to find answers from manual, but got confused. Please provide some info abput this workflow imformation file

As is the case with most of your questions, why do you care?

You don't generally have access to jobspec files directly -- they're an internal thing. You can query information about workflows in XML format, using CLTs like iwgetwfobj. Using CLTs or the CSSDK or the TeamSite PERL modules are the only supported ways of accessing this type of information. In the case of models, there are files created in the workflowModels branch, in a folder named Instances but relying on those for any custom process is not documented because it's not supported and it could be taken away from you in any newer release.
