template_file and role_list in wft

Hi,
I have a strange behavior happening here in available_templates.cfg. I have a workflow defined and all works nicely until I have added the role_list tag to prevent all users to be able to trigger the workflows. So nobody can trigger that workflow even the people with the "Body Webmaster" role. Anybody got a clue what that could be?

Either you are getting the typo or I am not reading correctly. It should be role element rather than group element.

Can you attach your entire available_templates.cfg file to this post so that we can see it in it's entirety? Also, are you seeing anything in your logs?

Based on the above - try using the newer syntax:

<template_file name='Submit' path='/workflow/wft/default_submit.wft'>
  <allowed>
    <and>
      <command name="submit"/>
      <role name="Body Webmaster"/>
      <branch-vpath vpath="/iwadmin/main/livesite/template"/>
    </and>
  </allowed>
</template_file>

and see if that works.
If it does, and you want other roles to also be able to access it (as per some of the later threads) modify it like so:

<template_file name='Submit' path='/workflow/wft/default_submit.wft'>
  <allowed>
    <and>
      <command name="submit"/>
      <or>
        <role name="Body Webmaster"/>
        <role name="Frame Webmaster"/>
      </or>
      <branch-vpath vpath="/iwadmin/main/livesite/template"/>
    </and>
  </allowed>
</template_file>

Are you sure you need the 2nd and 3rd or-container-clauses?
I realize you want their contents, but as there is only one entry in each, I think you should be able to remove the 'or' elements.

That is correct. I don't think you'll actually need them I have just removed then some entries from the clauses for better visibility.
