SitePublisher Component

Hi,
I am new to SitePublisher and LSDS. I am trying to create a component in my teamsite and use it in my pages in SitePublisher.
I have created a component in /iwadmin/main/livesite/component/WORKAREA/Installed Components/Interwoven/CustomComponents/test.component. This component is not visible in the add component list available while editing the page in SitePublisher.

I am not sure if I need to do any configurations after component creation.

Please help me to fix this.

Get some training. Also talk to the person who set up the server.

Typically you create another workarea and don't mess with Installed Components.

You will not be able to use the component until it is submitted.
