Creating sitemap using template (using XML entity definition)

Hi,
i want to create the .net sitemap file using template. As sitemap contains many levels of nodes and the levels will vary i was not not able to create the template for it. can any one suggest a best way to create the template for sitemap.
I have heard about XML entity definition for this type, can any one provide details and usage of XML entity definition.

Short answer is you build it. I tend to build a navigation DCR, which will generate the header, footer, left nav, bread crumbs and sitemap. This is never trivial.

You will also need to read this DCR from the pages to determine the breadcrumb.

This will allow you to autoname the DCR and a lot of other functionality.

i am not referring to reading a sitemap. i want to generate a .sitemap file using template. i tried but i could not able to do to beacause of the nested levels in the sitemap. so i am looking for the better solution.

Are you talking about SitePub sitemap file? You have posted this questions under TS FormsPub forum that's why I believe Andy provided a different answer. Please confirm is this SitePub or FormsPub.
