how to read & display DCR's external metadata in component

Hi,

I am adding external metadata to the DCRs using File->Tag. And calling these DCRs into the components using Type=DCR datum. In the appearance XSL block, i want to retrieve DCR's metadata and display. How can i do this? Please help.
