Unable to Update Files via Callserver

I am executing a ipl file as a callserver from DCT, It is executing fine till it executes the following line of code (If i remove die part it completes the execution however not accomplishing the desired result)

If i execute the same code via shell it is sucessfully executing / updating the file list


open(MF,">>/test_folder/filelist.txt") or die("Cannot open file for Writing");
print MF "dcr_name";

Any pointers if i am missing something here (There are 777 permissions on the file i am trying to update)

What about the permissions of the folder /test_folder ? Does everyone have permissions to be in that folder (execute permissions) ?

I assume you have no other debugging in that script, no output at all ?

First of all - if you're going to use diagnostic messages (which I applaud) make them a bit more useful - like:

my $fname = "/test_folder/filelist.txt";
open(MF, ">>", $fname) or die(" '$fname' ($!)");

Chances are you're still getting a permissions issue. But just to make sure we're clear on things here:
