IManWorkspace Update - How to update workspace only and not its contents

I'm using the IManWorkspace.Update() method to update the security on an WorkSpace but I don't want to update the security on all the documents within the workspace. How can I do this?

In the SDK it says:

"The IManWorkSpace object has three update methods: Update, UpdateAll, and UpdateAllWithResults, which refreshes the metadata on the workspace and all the items it contains"

It must be possible since in FileSite if you change the security on a Workspace it asks "Do you want to apply the profile meta-data and security from this container to all of the documents and sub-folders contained within?" If you choose no then it only updates the workspace.

Any Ideas?

The Update method will work fine - it merely updates the profile and security information.

UpdateAll and UpdateAllWithResults refer to the workspace body rather than the contents beneath the workspace. Refiling is another kettle of fish altogether and is largely implemented in client code.
