onCallout not triggering onItemChange

Hi,

I have a Callout Item that opens a calendar. I also have onItemChange registered on the CalloutItem.

After the calendar opens and the users select the date, the date comes back and is set in the Callout Item. I want to set that value in another hidden item as well, but the onItemChange event is not being triggered.

Can anyone tell what the issue might be?

I do not think that works. IIRC, you will need to use the OnItemChange if someone manually changes the item, and if someone uses the callout then after the change is saved run the same function.

"onItemChange" Event gets fired when your user modifies Item's value and changes Focus, that's it.
It never fires when you change Item's Value from code, callout or no callout.

I would recommend to code a dedicated Function(s) that "knows what to do" (like changing several
items) within your FormAPI and then simply make callout code to execute it.

and when you do that, pay attention to the timeout as it may take a few milliseconds for the field to be updated

So, should the value not get updated when the focus is set to another item using item.setFocus() ?

This is what I have so far
