I want to change the End Task behaviour in WFM.
Is it possible if end task can skip unlock operation.

in WFT i it can be done by

..endtask name="EndTask" unlock="t/f"..

Not sure about WFM.

Have you tried? Or are you just looking for someone to tell you "yes" or "no" in advance?

I'm not looking at a TS server right now - but I'm pretty sure if you could configure the endtask that way in WFT, you can probably do it in WFM too.

Not sure about WFM.

There is no as such attribute (unlock) for endtask in WFT as well. Unlock attribute comes with Submit task that is also available in WFM. You can set it's value true or false there.

In one of the scenario I want submitted files to remain locked but workflow must end.

Has someone done this? Please advise.

If you are using Submit task in WFM you can see the Flag attributes in Property panel. There you can set unlock=false.

I think you'd have to create your own "Unlock" task, External or URL.

You can use CSSDK or /iwhome/bin/iwunlock Module. I beleive OTB WF "examples" or
"solutions" Folder have a sample of WFT with such External Task. It should be possible
to port this task to WFM.

Based on the above - and the expectation that the only way that files will get unlocked is one of:

The last one is the only thing you should need to verify as the other two scenarios should easily fit your scenarios listed above (if you submit, you unlock; if you do not submit, you should not unlock).
