Cache connection

Hi,

We're working with OD 6.2.1 doing data deployments, and we're having some problems with cached connections (we're using them as it is the default value for the property cache-db-connection).

Usually it woks fine, but sometimes when you start the deployment it keeps validating the cached connection for 15 minutes.

As we're not finding too much information about this parameter, we would like to know:

- Is it possible to configure the maximum time of cached connection validation?

- Using cache-db-connection=false would be worse for an environment in which data deployments are frequent, even though information transfer is small (1 DCR per deployment) ?

Hi,

We are getting exactly the same behaviour with occassional 15 minute delay.

I cannot believe this to be a coincidence.
Our OD is same (6.2.1)
TS 672
Oracle 10g using the ojdbc14.jar driver

Did you ever resolve this issue ?

Very keen to hear any inputs you may have.
