Database to XML

Hi ,

I am trying to extract data tuples from single database tables and
mapping to an XML file . I want this XML to be Opend as a template. when i extract the data from DB i get it in the following manner

I am unable to write a DCT , for this format.
Could some one advice me how do i proceed here.

I would proceed by doing something else - entirely. Why would you want to create a DCT from DB results? A DCR I might understand, but a DCT?

Keep in mind - that if the information in the DB changes - your DCT would likely change - and that would likely invalidate every DCR that had previously been created from the DCT -- it really doesn't make sense.

I want to write a DCT , as per the attached file. Once i get the DCT , i could create the DCR's . Now my concern is , how do code datacapture.cfg since it wont allow 2 same nodes of same attributes in same root node.

What exactly is this attached XML?

Is it a sample of the DCR that you want to generate from yet to be created DCT?
If so, you may get what you want (somewhat modified perhaps) by defining data-tuple and tuple-field replicant Containers.

If it isn't a DCR Sample, what is it?

You are correct.. This is my DCR sample.
I could create it with the replicant of data-tuple and tuple-field . But My requirment is , All the items within data-tuple should come as Items instead of replicant container .

Do you want the values from database to be populated in DCT as per your shown xml format and then save it to DCR?

This can not be done in TeamSite.

Even if you generate DCRs like that from DB using some code they do not have enough
information to *map* identical Tags like <tuple-field> back to unique non-replicant DCT Items.
