I am following the guide and it says.

The available default properties for customization reside in the following file:
iw-home/TeamSite/httpd/webapps/content_center/WEB-INF/confi/
livesite/resources/livesite-resource-config.xml

but this file doesnt exist. We basically need to enable and disable some buttons when tinymce is being used by the sitepublisher. Can somebody tell me if this path is correct? or is there a different path?

Hi,
Its not in the httpd folder.
Do remember not to do any changes here as it is the deployment folder.
The correct customization file location is:iw-home\local\config\lib\content_center\customer_src\etc\conf\customer.

So which file am I modifying in /etc/conf/customer folder for tinymce?

From the manual:


SitePublisher comes with a default set of editing features that you can
customize. Customer overrides of TinyMCE configuration settings are in
the customer-teamsite-resource-config.xml file. You can modify the
settings to add or remove plug-ins, icons, and other features. This file
resides in the following location: iw-home\local\config\lib\content_center
\livesite_customer_src\etc\conf\livesite_customer\resources

The only part where the manual is wrong is that the reference location is correctly iw-home/TeamSite/httpd/webapps/content_center/WEB-INF/conf/livesite/resources/livesite-resource-config.xml only in TS 6.7. In 7.x, the correct location of this file is iw-home/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war/WEB-INF/conf/livesite/resources/livesite-resource-config.xml
