I believe that the default port is 8081, so unless you've previously changed you might want to try that port. Additionally ensure that the service is running (pg 112 of the manual).

megamala

services are running and default port is 8081

JamJamT

Your original post listed port 8080 in the URL. Was that a typo or have you tried 8081?

megamala

Its typo mistake(in forum )

It sounds like the AdminServer isn't running or not functioning properly.

Try running:
/etc/init.d/iwtcboot stop
wait a second
/etc/init.d/iwtcboot start
wait a few seconds

and then try logging in again. (the full start up process sometimes takes longer than a couple of seconds).

If it still doesn't work after a minute - check the logs under .../AdminServer/servletd/logs/ and see if there are any errors reported.

I did iwtcboot stop and start. same page cannot be displayed. Here is logfile( servlet.log) content.

At this point I'd suggest working with Interwoven Support.

I am getting simmilar problem, can u please tell me the log files I should check for more details.

megamala

How can we know that Tomcat is running or not

megamala

Did you able to solve that problem

Migrateduser

The easiest way is to typehttp:// localhost:8081 to see if u get the Tomcat page. If u do get it,it means the Tomcat server is running.

Hope this helps.
Thanks

megamala

I got page cannot be displyed. ni guddha sale .

fuzzy

just wanted to clearup that localhost is the server name where the opendeploy is installed on and not your localhost machine.

megamala

http://servername:8081 then I got page can't be displayed

Migrateduser

bit unfortunate .. i resolved that few months before.. & now dont remember what exactly I did... I thought I will not waste time investingting.. thats why have this posted.. i will wait for some more days .. else will go ahead myself.. will feedback u once done

lokesh

check the log file /var/adm/iwui/servletd.log

if din't started change the premissions for the file under
/usr/local/iw-home/servletd/conf/server.xml

chmod 755 server.xml
chown root server.xml
chgrp daemon server.xml
and start /etc/init.d/iwtcboot

and see the log file which is above.

http://servername:8081

you will be sing the tomcat home page.

Are u using "https" instead of "http" for TeamSite logjn?
Try following url for OD Admin GUI.

http://IWservername/iw/opendeploy/login

Note :
- Use http or https which ever u use for TeamSite login.
- Do not specify port number in the url (as above).

If this works somebody from InterWoven experts in the forum can explain in better fashion.

I did http://10.90.25.79/iw/opendeploy/login , I am getting page not found (http 404 error).

Adam Stoller

Try http://10.90.25.70:8081/iw/opendeploy/login

The OpenDeploy Admin GUI uses a distinct port

First I tried with http://10.90.25.70:8081/iw/opendeploy/login then I got paga can not be displayed. Then sarch suggested me http://servername/iw/opendeploy/login then I got page not found.
