RSS feed on TS

Did anyone on this forum implement a rss feed generator using TS 6.7.1 SP1? From the SitePublisher & LiveSite docs, I understand that there are OOB features to enable rss feeds, however we are not licensed to use LS and SitePublisher. Any thoughts?

I have built it myself. I put a step in the workflow to parse and regen rss.xml when a new DCR was released. Pretty easy to build, organizing the data in a a reasonable form was the hard part due to the DCRs I had to work with.
