I do not believe this is possible - you can include content from a DCR within a SP component but not the other way around as far as I know.

I presume by "TeamSite template" you mean a TPL?

Well, I suppose you could do something to replicate the functionality of a LiveSite component in a TeamSite template - perhaps attempt to reuse the XSL? It wouldn't be a straight forward port, and there's no out-of-the-box method to include a LiveSite component in a TPL, but I suppose in theory you could try to re-engineer a component within a TPL.

Having not touched TPLs for years, I don't know whether you'd be able to reuse any external functionality your components might be using.

It would be interesting to understand the use case.

It's an unusual request - normally, the trend is to try and replicate TPL functionality in a LiveSite component, not the other way around.

Is it that you've had your fingers burnt with LiveSite and want to go back to the "traditional" DCR/TPL HTML generation approach?
