Is it possible for 2 TeamSite installations to point to a common iw-store configured on either of the server machines or for that matter on a different machine all together?

This again is driven from the requirements that is load balancing within TeamSite is possible and the store can get active or passive during downtime of a production server (say).

You cannot do this with two active TeamSite servers.
You can do this in a failover / disaster recovery model where only one of the two servers is active at any one time.

Hi Maddy,
We are going with two TS's and will let you know how it goes...but it is possible and as ghoti said two TS cannot be active at one given point of time...one has to be passive

Is there a configuration that needs to be done for active/passive of TeamSite server somewhere or for that matter pointing to a fixed iw-store? I didn't see anything in iw.cfg for this.

This is custom design / implementation work which depends significantly on the environment in which it is being done and the needs of the customer. Expect to spend at least a good solid Month on it.

Yes - and like someone who's spent more than a month doing this in the past (in association with an IWOV consultant)
