How to hit URL in ipl

I am using XSLT based presentation template to generate output through generateurl.

This i m trying to do through Workflow by calling ipl through external task.

I am able to generate output through URL that has been created, but not able to generate through workflow.

Can anyone please suggest, what i need to do to generate output through workflow.

You should consider using a Java class for your external task, and then calling an XSLTPTCompiler.

If you want to stick with the PERL route, you'd likely have to use a CGI task to get the user's authentication information (via cookie), then use LWP:imple to do an HTTP GET to the generateurl command, passing the cookie information along with it.
