How to add replicant as first one

I have a container which contains 16 item replicants. I want to add one more item and I want this item to be first one in the list. How can I do that ? When I click on "+" sign in the top-right corner to add a replicant, new replicant gets added below the first one (ie it adds at number 2 position). If I want this item entry to be the first one, is there a way around ?

I can think of a workaround. Add new item at number 2 position, then again add new replicant at number 3 position and add details of number 1 replicant in number 3 and delete number 1 replicant. That way I can make number 2 as number one. But is there a straight forward way of adding replicant at first position ?

Beside the plus sign, you will see an arrow sign.
Use that and your problem will be sorted out.

santosh013 is correct, but it depends on the version of TeamSite that you have. The older versions (possibly pre-6.5, not sure) did not have the arrows and you were unable to order them that way.

If you are not seeing the arrows, then let us know what version do you have?

I can see the arrow, but when I click on that arrow, nothing happens. Neither down arrow nor uparrow works. It looks like only "+" and "x" options are working out of that group.

Ideally this should not happen.

Those buttons should only be inactive if you don't have more than one instance (thus making reordering pointless). Otherwise, at least one of the up/down buttons should be active (obviously, the up arrow isn't going to be active on the first instance because it can't go further "up").

Seems weird but there is nothing to activate/deactivate.
One thing which I can suggest is to make a new form entry and replicate the containers to cross-check this problem if you have not already tried so.

Do you have any custom javascript or FormAPI that you are using that may be causing a javascript error or that is overriding it's functionality? What about any custom css?

Also, what happens if you make a new basic datacapture.cfg with just a replicant? Do the arrows appear and work then?

Upload your datacapture and any javascript or css. We may be able to see the issue in those files.

If it is active and allows you to click, then as mentioned by taalgaard, please check your script. Please try in different browsers and confirm if the behavior is consistent. Also please let us know if you have tinymce/VFE within the replicants.
