DD for a custom content store

Hi ,
Im trying to deploy the extended attributes to the database from an contentstore(ABC). In DD script under source section , im specifying the area ="ABC/main/ABC/ABC-workarea". . When checked the logs . But its throwing an error as path cannot be found . 'default' was getting added to area attribute automatically "default/ABC/main/ABC/ABC-workarea" . How can use a DD script for a content store other than 'default' ?
