Invalid workflow Template- Permission Denied Error

Dear All,

I am having issues in teamsite triggering a workflow.

Other users can trigger the workflow successfully, and it works fine for them.

But when I trigger it - It gives below error -

"Invalid workflow template - Permission Denied."

I have bugged myself dfor last 2 days. looking the permission of all the wft , available_templates.cfg file and all.
below is the entry of workflow on available_templates.cfg

Couldnt figure out why it is so. May you please help me , OR if anyone of you have afced such an error sometime in your life ./

Which OS, TS version?

Is there any specific group that has execute permissions within the mentioned branch? Are all other users who are able to instantiate the workflow insde that specific group and you aren't?

The OS is solaris 10 , TS version -6.7.1

Yes the workflows have groups assoacited to it. but i am also assigned to those groups.

Try the newer syntax (change this accordingly with your requirement):

If you have the author role then you'd be able to see and start the workflow when you click submit, after implementing the above code.
If you get the permission error, you'd need to check the execute permissions for the workflow on the file-system and verify that it is not different for you.

Are you a member of a lot of groups? like more than 15? I don't remember the exact number, but I think there was an issue when a user was a member of more than 15 or 16 groups that TeamSite would only recognize the first 15 (or 16) listed in /etc/group from top-to-bottom.

If you are a member of a lot of groups you can test this issue by making sure the particular group involved is listed towards the top of the /etc/group file to see if the problem "goes away".
