1. Do both email sent by the workflow and the Task Details window within the GUI use the same xsl template(reviewerNotification.xsl)? If yes, why i can't see the button definition in the .xsl template?
2. Is this the correct way can get the requirements done?
No, they don't. The task details window can only be modified (somewhat) through the UITK. Your XSL for emails can reference the Google Doodle for all TeamSite cares.Kinda. From the paragraph above, it sounds like you just need to change the email body. If that's the case, then you don't need to write you own class. You can use the OOTB class (don't override the task var) and only change the mail_template variable to use a modified version of the XSL. If you need to push more information into the email's datasource than is made available to you OOTB (e.g. if your preview server varies based on context) or you want to change the email subject line, THEN you need a custom class.If you do keep going with the custom class, post your code snippet and anything relevant in servletd_out.log (if nothing happens at all, I'm suspecting a ClassNotFoundException).
public class ReviewTask extends ReviewerMailNotificationTask { private static Logger log = Logger.getLogger(ReviewTask.class.getName()); public ReviewTask() { log.info("...reset mail"); System.out.println("...reset mail"); } protected MailerConfig createMailConfig(CSClient client, CSExternalTask currentTask, Hashtable params) throws MailConfigException, CSException { log.info("inital mail setting..."); MailerConfig mailConfig = super.createMailConfig(client, currentTask, params); // other codes... } }
1. which xsl template is the OOTB review task email template? is this reviewerNotification.xsl?
2. what exactly about "UITK" and "Google Doodle for all TeamSite cares", can you pls explain more?
3. i need to attach other related pages, so i need to implement a custom class, my test class is as follow
there is no exception can be found, i totally can not get any log info except below
private static final Log LOGGER = LogFactory.getLog(MyClass.class);
