Hi,I am facing an issue with CGI Task immediate property.This property wont raised when the CGI Task is followed by another CGI Task.Scenario --------Start -> CGI Task 1 -> CGI Task 2 -> CGI Task 3 -> EndIssue faced-----------Immediate property for CGI Task 1 is workingImmediate property for CGI Task 2 is not raisedImmediate property for CGI Task 3 is not raisedIn our workflow , we need 3 CGITask should be exected independently as per the Scenario mentioned.Can anyone asset me to reslove this ?
I think,You will need to put these three CGITask code in one CGITask.
But in my scenario all these are independent task.
CGITask will work in following situations- Is the start task and owned by iw_userFollows another cgitask, owned by the same user, and the preceding start task uses TeamSite::CGI_lite's iwcallback (not TeamSite::WFtask's CallBack)Follows a usertask owned by the same userFollows a grouptask owned by the same user
Is their any way to achive this ??
Based on the information you've posted it *should* work. We are still missing something in this picture.First of all, does transition really happen? In other words, after CGI1 window is closed, can you activateCGI2? Does CGI2 window appear when you go WF Tab, Task and click "Start Input Task"? If it does,provide CGI1 code or at the very least code fragment that performs task transition.
$task->CallBack(0,"Success");
Yes transition is happening.CGI2 window appearing in WF Tab.If I click "Start Input Task" it will invoke CG2.Code for transition is,$task->CallBack(0,"Success");
That's sufficient for transition but not to activate "back to back" CGIs in immediate Mode.Try to use TeamSite::CGI_lite::iwcallback() instead of WFTask CallBack.
Note also that vaibhav2288 clearly indicated the need for this back in post #4 which you (original thread poster: Kannan1, not ISCBorisB) even responded to and said it wasn't working.Please try to make sure you actually read and understand the responses you get - you could have probably saved yourself 24-hours of frustration had you done so.You could have probably saved even more time if you had read the Workflow Developer's Guide (p. 130 in the 7.1 version; p. 107 in the 6.7.1 version; p. 136 in the 6.0 version; etc.)
Thanks ghoti,I had read the Workflow Developer's Guide and changed my call back asmy $cgi = new TeamSite::CGI_lite();......$cgi->iwcallback("CGI Task2", "Comment");but still its not workingPlease give a help on thisThanks in advance
Without having access to the server and the code, there is little that I can do to debug the above. There are any number of reasons why it might not be working correctly - far too many to try to list them in the absence of the appropriate context in which to examine them. Sorry, but you're going to have to do a bit more work on your end to investigate / debug this.
Thanks ghoti,Iam using WFMPlase find my attached Workflow and script."CreateFile.ipl" is the script file for the cgitask "CreateFile".I set immediate=true for all the tasks in my workflow.But for "Process File" task (ie second cgitask)need "Start Input Task" to invoke.Is their any method to invoke "Process File" task immediately.Thanks in advance
Here is something that you can try.In the screenshot I have attached, give "Success" as name to transition instead of the "Start process File".Use bellow line of code.$cgi->iwcallback("Success", "File successfully created");iwcallback() takes two parameters 1) Transition to which you want to proceeds(Here transition name is "Success"). If you don't pass transition name and pass only comment then it will automatically take success transition name.2) Comment. Hope, it will help.
