interaction within workflows
meikel
Hi,
I have a workflow "FOO". At the end, it looks for a "waiting" workflow "BAR" (with iwgetwfobj).
When it found one, it transfers it's appended files to this "waiting" workflow. If not, it creates a new "BAR" workflow.
This works fine.
But what, if more than one "BAR" workflows are found?
The user has to decide, which of the "BARs" has to be selected.
Is there a chance to "give back" a list of the found "BAR" workflows and the user selects one?
Or any other interaction within workflows?
regards
meikel

Have you tried using a cgitask for this? (Presuming that there is a usertask or grouptask prior).

Great Idea,
i can call an blah.ipl already. it contains a html-form
Now I have the next problem. when i try to catch the selection in the same script (blah.ipl). i got an internal servererror (500).
the system expects a cgi???
Well, how can i create one

If blah.ipl is located in IWHOME/httpd/iw-bin/ - then it essentially is a CGI. It must be executable and accessible by the user who is trying to run the program. If on Windows, make sure the #! path at the beginning of the script is the full path to iwperl - otherwise you have to create a .cgi wrapper for it (copy show_env.cgi to blah.cgi)
You might want to take a look at the iwui/error_log file - as it might expand a bit on why you're getting that 500 error.
