Has anyone had any issues with trying to FTP files into the Y drive on TS 7.2.1?

I always use winscp not FTP,
But yea there are issues with tools *like* that. I have all too often the ability to edit a file though the GUI and not through the Y: drive, often due to workarea and branch security turned on.
As your user, can you use the Y: drive ? How about a share to it ?

Permissions is not the issue. The file gets created and SOME of the contents gets transferred but for files larger than a few kilobytes the contents are not written to the Y drive. The sender gets confirmation that xxxxxx bytes transferred, but the contents in the file are truncated.
We had to quickly bail on FTP into the Y drive since it's a critical component of our operation. (Lesson learned - look at large test files during testing!!!)
We ended up rooting the FTP server on the native disk then creating a process to copy from there to the Y drive. In the long run, it is a better solution for us since we can add in validation and also allows for TeamSite maintenance to not cause outages for other apps trying to push us data. The data will be stored in our "FTP Staging area" to be migrated into TeamSite when we want it to.
