STAGING properties lost after copying ContentStore

I have copied the contentstore from the production Solaris (TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1) server to new TeamSite 6.7.2 SP2. During this process I have applied the correct permission while backing up and copying. After this the STAGING properties on few branches have been disappeared on the target server (Linux). Due to this the indexing on these branches fails saying cannot find the latest Edition.

Can someone let me know how to setup or getback the properties of STAGING area for these few branches?

Have you gone through an iwidmap process?
Chances are some of the owner information from the original server isn't valid on the new server and you have to remap the id's to valid accounts on the new server.

Thanks for the reply. We have maintained the same UIDs in both servers (source and target) for TeamSite users and groups. But, iwts UID is different on each server. Does this matter?

Most likely - yes - you should have maintained that UID too.
Also make sure that GIDs are maintained.
At this point I recommend you go through the iwidmap process - remembering to deactivate and reactivate the store(s) when you're done to have the changes take effect.
