Is it ok to change the owner and the group of the iwmnt on Linux? Currently both the owner and the group are set as root.

We need to give another group to give write access to iwmnt.

Is it ok to change the owner and the group of the iwmnt on Linux? Currently both the owner and the group are set as root. We need to give another group to give write access to iwmnt.

It is not a good practice to have everyone accessing iwmnt directly, majority of the time any one including root should access iwmnt from CCPro or CCstd to facility versioning and avoid accidental deletions. The easy way is to have the Group in subject to give Write permissions for the Workarea/Workareas where they were supposed to work.
