CSAreaRelativePath

Hi,

TeamSite 6.7.2
Linux
CSSDK 3.1.1

When you use the task object to getfiles, it returns an array of CSAreaRelativePath. When you try to loop through that list, how do you know if you are getting a directory or getting a file? I don't see anything in the CSSDK documents that would help. Is there a way to check? Thanks,

How do you turn the CSAreaRelativePath into a CSFile object? I tried to do something like:

CSFile file1=(CSFile)csfiles;

where csfiles[] is an array of CSAreaRelativePath. That gives me a class cast exception.

If I do something like
if (csfiles instanceof CSFile) {}
or
if (csfiles instanceof CSDir) {}

Then it does not go into any of those if statements.

One last hint then you need to figure the rest out on your own (unles some genius from another country decides to spoon feed you the answer). Take a look and see what cool things you can do with a CSArea and a CSAreaRelativePath. Pay close attention to the getFile() method. You should be able to easily get a CSArea pointed to your workarea.

Hmm.....Looks like you need to get the workarea vpath, then get all files, then filter them out... seems kind of backwards.

                    sortArray[0]=new CSSortKey(CSSortKey.NAME, true);
