Hi All,We have one dcr based component which is coming fine till preview. When we publish to webserver it is taking DCR from other directory for the same component.Let me make it more clearLets see we have component name Navigation which is refering the DCR named default.xml.We have created one directory test at the same level and under that directory Navigation and then we create page named as Navigation. In this we have added the Navigation Component and selected DCR is default.xml.When we publish the page there is one generate HTML task which is converting the .page to .html successfully but when we check the task from Workflow UI,it is giving error invalid attachment so that in the publish page we are not able to see the content from DCR.Any Suggestion. Please let me know if you need further information to make it more clear.Note: In TS 6.7.2 SP1 it is working as expected
Is DCR the only source of content for this navigation page or some of the content is coming from other DCRs as well? Also, is there any content directly saved in page file only?Is yes, Are you able to see the content from other DCRs or other sources coming to this generated HTML correctly or you face the problem for all of them. The way you are describing the problem , it looks like that the workflow is not able to pick up the content from DCR while generating the HTML. Is the DCR under templatedata folder only?
Hi,Thanks for your reply,Yes the content is coming from DCR only,At the time of publishing the content it is taking the dcr from other directory as I mentioned. The benefit of this suppose we use Navigation Component in 100 pages and want to change the XML,we can change in test/Navigation/Navigation.page,It will appear for all.The components which are not taking content like this they are working fine.Yes DCR is in templatedata folder onlyLet me know if you need more clarification.
Are you using PLC workflow for doing all this or you have created your own customized workflow? Enable debugging in the workflow and try to find out the list of all depenent files and see what is the path for that DCR. I still suspect that somehow DCR path is not correct but there is nothing more i can suggest beyond that without seeing the code.
