Receiving deployments not allowed

Hi there

I've recently renewed the license for OD 6.2.1 on our dev box, and, since doing so, am seeing the error 'receiving deployments not allowed' on the receiver. I haven't renewed a receiver license because I don't think this is required (I can't see an od.lic file on this box).

Any ideas? I've never carried out this process before, so I'm sure I've missed something obvious.

You need a license file for each and every OpenDeploy installation - base and receiver - if you don't have one, OD will run for 30 days from when it was first installed in "trial mode" and then stop accepting requests.

You can also check the od receiver logs. It should say that license expire or invalid license.
