Teamsite doesn't come up after the build

Hi,

Whenever we run maketoolkit.ipl for rebuilding our CC it doesnt come up.
Then we need to run iwreset -ui which again takes 10-15 mins for the CC to come up .Can you please suggest what might be the reason for this delay.

Does it give any error while running make_toolkit and accessing UI?

No ,it doesnt give any error.
but after maketoolkit.ipl is executed the UI is not up until we run iwreset -ui.

FWIW - we have exactly the same issue but I've just habitually run an iwreset -ui after a maketoolkit.

I've a suspicion that it is the order and dependencies of services coming up in the make toolkit and suspect if the box spec is low or load on the box high services are not coming up correctly. The iwreset then tidies it all up.

TS 7.1 has a built in delay between stop and start, it is a couple minutes, IIRC. You can specify the delay in iwreset, though you should really know what you are doing.

You can probably investigate editing the workings of the make toolk - I think it is a wrapper for a ant script - and maybe you can put a sleep/pause in the relevant place.

I'd strongly not reommend this approach.
