First one is news-today page on staging server , while second one is its location on TeamSite. When I deploy a generated page on staging server, I can decide the path where this page will be deployed on staging server. By that I mean, directory structure can be anything that I want. But can I alter the path for images in the path ? e.g. an image has a path //172.178.56.103/default/main/WORKAREA/news/images/trees.jpg.
So in news-today.aspx page this image has been included as <img src=/images/trees.jpg />
Can I change the directory structure of images on staging server ? If yes, then how will that path of images changed in deployed page ?
2) Is workarea considered as root dir in TS ? Because when I provide path for an image, it starts with dir under WORKAREA. SO when content is deployed from TS server, the path that is deployed to runtime server starts from dir under WORKAREA. SO lets say an image is located under //172.178.56.103/default/main/WORKAREA/news/images/trees.jpg and another page is located under //172.178.56.103/default/main/WORKAREA/news/content/magazines/region/language/business-news.jsp
If image is deployed, "/news/images/trees.jpg " will be deployed to runtime server and when business-news.jsp is deployed "/news/content/magazines/region/language/business-news.jsp" will be deployed. SO any time dir structure deployed, will start from workarea and not from dir under workarea or above workarea. Is this understanding correct ?
