my iw_iterate and iw_if not working correctly

Attached (i couldn't get the code tag to display my code) is a snippet from a tpl.

I am trying to NOT generate a portion of html if a replicant area does not contain value.

With the current code the html section does not display even if there is a value in the replicant area.

Need some suggestions please.

Editorial comment, I always use iw_then (whether there is an else or not).

Also you should *really* get rid of the CDATA tags. If you make your 1st line of the TPL list this:

[/php]

The you do not need the CDATA

  <html> <head> [/php]and it continues. So, are you saying that I do not need to use the cdata tags since I have the iw_name tag?

This goes back to version 5.1 at least:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<iw_pt name="LowesLink Complex">
  <![CDATA[
    <html>....</html>
  ]]>
</iw_pt>

Can be more simply written as:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<iw_pt name="LowesLink Complex"[color=red]/>[/color]
<html>...</html>

See the difference?
