[/php]WIth this DCT, I am creating a DCR and saving it. When I use populate data woth only one container, DCR saves data. But when I add a container, using replicant container, populate it with data and save it. When check this DCR in edit mode again, none of the data is there in replicant container. Its empty.

Why is that ? How can I make sure that data is contained in DCR ?

WHen I provided location path for containers, content started showing up in DCR in edit mode.

But is not location attribute implied (ie I dont have to necesssarily provide this information and it will be assumed by TeamSite) ? If so, then why am I getting such behavior ?

Specifying location attribute is mandatory for the container element for the XML dcr-type which is why Adam asked you to show the specification of the DCT in your templating.cfg file. TeamSite doesn't assume the location attribute value. Have you read somewhere in the manual or somewhere else that TeamSite assumes this value?

In DTD, location attribute is specified as "implied" and not "required".

If location is must, then shall it not be a "required" attribute in DTD specification ?

Because location attribute is specified as "implied" in DTD, I consider location attribute as optional. So please clarify

I believe, and your experience would seem to verify, that the DTD has a typo in it - one which I believe has been pointed out before in the forums and to Support (but unfortunately never fixed in the actual file or documentation).
