I am working on TS - 6.5.2 version and getting the below error
While using Import Files option.

An error occurred executing command com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.launchpad.ImportFilesCommand"
Root cause:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.launchpad.ImportFilesCommand.execute(ImportFilesCommand.java:129)....

Java version on my machine is 1.6.0_26
JRE (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot Client VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode. sharing)

Please suggest how to get rid off this error.

Thanks!

Java 1.6 is not supported with TS 6.5. Only 1.4.2.

I would suggest you downgrade to a lower version and possibly clear out downloaded java objects on your desktop that came from TeamSite so that they are downloaded again.

What browser are you using?
Is this issue only related to one desktop, or are others having the issue?

I know Java 1.4.2 is supported only but earlier I had Java version 1.6.0_23 and till then everything was working fine. but when I upgrated it to 1.6.0_26 it doesn't work properly.
Any idea why?

You eventually run out of luck with unsupported JVM versions, big surprise. You would have to either downgrade JVM
or upgrade TS, 6.5 has reached EOL and is not supported any longer

I think you answered your own question. You stepped up a version. There is probably some deprecated method or class that no longer exists in 1.6.0_26.

If you really want to know why, then decompile com.interwoven.ui.teamsite.launchpad.ImportFilesCommand and look at line 129.

The nerve of a company releasing software in 2006 that does not work with a JVM released 5 years later.
