TargetFileSystem

Lax

I have an issue with the configuration file. The file is not getting deployed to the right directory.
I have the following in my sourcefilesystem

<sourceFilesystem
area = "$my_warea^"
filelist = "$my_flist3^" >
<pathSpecification>
<path name = "docroot" />
<filters>
</filters>
</pathSpecification>
</sourceFilesystem>

$my_warea points to '//DSMNTCMS1\default\main\Intranet\WellmarkWeb\STAGING';
$my_flist3 points to 'E:\iw-logs\filelist\Intranet\BoardFilesWW.txt';

'E:\iw-logs\filelist\Intranet\BoardFilesWW.txt'; contains the following text
AboutWellmark\News\IndexPages\preview.htm

I have the following in my TargetFileSystem.

<target useReplicationFarm="inter_Prod_farm" >
<comparisonRules dateDifferent="yes" />
<transferRules dontDo = "no" svrTryCount="20" svrTryInterval="30" />

<targetFilesystem area="D:\Program Files\BoardWeb\board\content\news_events" />
</target>

Now this is the issue I'm facing. It picks up the file from the right location and then puts it to the following directory structure 'AboutWellmark\News\IndexPages\' inside
"D:\Program Files\BoardWeb\board\content\news_events". What I need is to put the file directly under "D:\Program Files\BoardWeb\board\content\news_events".

The value of Filelist is getting carried over from the SourceFileSystem filelist to the tartgetFileSystem fileslist. I tried several things to override it, but no luck.
I know I'm missing something BIG here. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

So you're saying you have a file:
\default\main\Intranet\WellmarkWeb\STAGING\docroot\AboutWellmark\News\IndexPages\preview.htm

That you want to get deployed to:
D:\Program Files\BoardWeb\board\content\news_events\preview.htm

Yes?

Try changing your configuration and filelist then to look like:<source>
<sourceFilesystem area="$my_warea^" filelist="$my_flist3^">
<pathSpecification>
<path name="docroot\AboutWellmark\News\IndexPages"/>
</pathSpecification>
</sourceFilesystem>
</source>
<target>
<targetFilesystem area="D:\Program Files\BoardWeb\board\content\news_events"/>
...
</target>

The contents of $my_flist3 should then be just:

preview.htm

and that will, I believe, accomplish what you are asking for.
