Alert box using formAPI

Hi

In my dct I have an emailID field through validation-regex I am able to stop dcr save if email is not correct.

But requirment is to show alert box if entered email id is incorrect.

Please suggest how can I do it with formAPI.

You'll want to register a handler for the 'onSave' event and validate the email there, instead of using the validation-regex attribute.
