Clean Install of TeamSite 7.2.1 failed again

Another attempt at installing TeamSite 7.2.1

Did the manual removal of TeamSite from the system (Solaris 10).

Cleaned out all the iw files in /etc/init.d, /etc/rc2.d, /etc/rc3.d, /dev

Completely wiped out /opt/iw-home

Reboot the machine

Ran the installer again.

same error,

Could not find Connector with port 9080 in server xml -- this Connector is required

If it is required, why didn't the installer create the file with that port!??!

We had some similar issues with the Windows installation as well. There is something quirky about the Jboss portion of the install. Support was not able to yet figure it out. Not sure how you installed, but we ended up having to install ALL components at the same time. After about 5 failed attempts, we were able to get it installed "successfully." Smiley Sad

what is the value of connector port in server.xml under \ApplicationContainer\server\all\deploy\jboss-web.deployer :

if its not 9080, please change it to 9080 and try.

We had a similar issue but it got resolved after i manually changed the port to 9080.

Thanks all for your replies. It turns out that I needed to use port 8080 for the Jboss portion during the install, or else I would keep getting that error.
