Copying the xsl based presentation while running through command
neeraj_kumar
When i am trying to generate output xml from xsl based template, it not showing the correct result.
The output result xsl presentation, it simply copying the xsl to the output. It couldn't transform the output result.
from command line i am trying to run iwgen, it doesn't show any error.
Can anyone have any idea why it is giving wrong result.

Based on the extremely limited amount of information you provided - no, I don't think anyone can tell you "why it's giving wrong result".
When making a post in the forums like this - keep in mind that we do not know what version of the product you are using, what OS you're using, what code you've written, nor what code you're processing.
If you want help - you need to provide a lot more information.

I am trying to run below command to get output from xsl based PT.
/usr1/app/interwoven/TeamSite/bin/iwgen -t /default/main/GG/global/WORKAREA/work/templatedata/web-resources/cast/presentation/generateRss.xsl -r /default/main/GG/global/WORKAREA/work/templatedata/web-resources/cast/data/global/podcast/p/cast.xml /default/main/GG/global/WORKAREA/work/iw/rss/cast.xml
What i am getting the .xsl is copied to output at /default/main/GG/global/WORKAREA/work/iw/rss which is not correct output.
i.e It is directly copying my xsl to output file, not performing any transformation.
The output should display the xml using xsl based pt.
Hope this make sense.

Are you sure you properly configured templating.cfg to use the XSL compiler and not the Perl compiler? The .xsl extension of your template will not affect the compiler choice, and using the Perl compiler on an XSL could very well produce that (since all tags would be assumed to be static strings to copy to the output).

Yes, rpoulin. I have configured XSL compiler in templating.cfg.
Do any have come across this problem?
I have tried with xalan transform but not achieved the result.
Thanks!!
