Creating pages optimized for mobile devices

Hello,

We are interested in creating pages within TeamSite that will be optimized for mobile devices.

This means, we believe, be able to:
- sniff for device
- feed appropriate stylesheet based on device
- redirect based device

Has anyone elsedone thiswithin TeamSite?

I do not believe this is a TeamSite issue. Assuming you are talking about HTML and CSS - there are directives you can provide for the CSS link that correlate with the "device" being used to render the content - although this was probably a lot simpler before mobile devices got "smarter" (one used to have HTML vs WML - now I'm not so sure that such a distinction exists).

From the TS perspective, you could have PTs that generate multiple output files for differing devices and somehow (not entirely sure how - but probably via Javascript) have your web site serve the appropriate pages for the device being used - but this is also likely to run into issues of how one correctly identifies such a device.

In either case - it's not a function of TS but a function of what you develop within TS to generate the output and how that output (and the directives within it) get interpreted by the web server.
