Visual Format Field Format Issue

I have the existing content. I want to format the detailed body(VFE) and put some bullets infornt of some hyper links. When I am trying to do so it appears and goes off immediately before save.

I tried the same thing on other machine and it works fine there.

TeamSite : 6.5
IE: 6
Windows XP.

Can anyone tell what could be the reason and how to resolve it?

How are you inserting bullets? from WISYWIG? or source mode? I am thinking you were doing in WISYWIG mode, try putting the bullets in source code, use "li" and "ul" tags if feasible. It should work.

Open a new form with VFE field
Go to WYSIWYG mode
Insert bullets
Go to Source Mode
Check the code for bullets
Apply the same code wherever you want bullets

OK so you are not using html coding in that other machines in which you have tried and it worked for you. So here is a question, what is different in this machine where it doesn't work to that one where it works?

Just for this machine can you do html coding and see if i it works?

You can install VFE on this machine and try it again.
