LSCS deployments are failing

Hi,

We have upgraded our Teamsite environment from TS 7.1.0 to TS 7.1.0.0.1 (Windows 2008) and we are facing an issue with LSCS deployments.

We are getting the following error:

ENG: Failed Commit true

Any pointers?

LSCS deployments were working with TS 7.1.0 and it stopped working after the upgrade.

At one point LSCS OD config changed how the nodes are defined (I thought that was for 7.2 but may have been earlier).


If you have:

[color=#1f497d]<preview lscsContext="lscs" lscsRuntimeTransport="http" lscsRuntimeHostname="localhost" lscsRuntimePort="8080" destinationArea="C:/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/conf/lscs/preview-dest" destinationNode="localhost"/>
<production lscsContext="lscs" lscsRuntimeTransport="http" lscsRuntimeHostname="localhost" lscsRuntimePort="5555" destinationArea="C:\LSCSRT-Store" destinationNode="LSCSRuntime"/>
[/color]

replace it with (keeping your attribute values of course), the XML element changed to be 'runtime' with mode='' containing the target:

<runtime mode="preview" lscsContext="lscs" lscsRuntimeTransport="http" lscsRuntimeHostname="localhost" lscsRuntimePort="8080" destinationArea="C:/Interwoven/OpenDeployNG/conf/lscs/preview-dest" destinationNode="localhost"/>
<runtime mode="production" lscsContext="lscs" lscsRuntimeTransport="http" lscsRuntimeHostname="localhost" lscsRuntimePort="5555" destinationArea="C:\LSCSRT-Store" destinationNode="LSCSRuntime"/>

If this does not fix it, then back out the above change and check OD/LSCS logs for more information about the exception and the stack trace.
