Running DAS & Standalone in parallal

I am trying to move current setup from DAS to standalone deployment & have few worries.
- Can I run DAS & standalone deployment parallaly?
- Does standalone setup needs a seperate license than DAS?
- for DAS: Is there a way I can control to use same table to deploy from multiple workarea.
- What are the conflicts between two if used parallal development for DAS & Standalone.

Didnt find any good details in the documentation.

no you have to configure them seperately in two seperate deployments. Why do you want them in Paralllel

Basically I am in process to replace the existing DAS setup by Standalone.
So runing parallaly means whether I will be able to configure a standalone deployment on test data types on the same server with DAS used for other regular data types.

Surprising to know it needs a seperate license on top of the existing "DadaDeploy" license we have & used for DAS.

The problem is we have only 2 teamsite envieonments Dev & Prod. If I wont be able to run them parallaly.
I will be curious to know what would be the best strategy to replace DAS with Standalone type DD.

I do not believe that DAS vs. DD standalone require different licenses.
You need to have a license that indicates you have the right to run DataDeploy - with that, you should be able to configure your odbase.xml for DAS, stand-alone, or both - without having to get yet-another-license.

Yes You do not need to buy an other license, when you guys have bought Teamsite you should have already bought the DD plugin add-on and have that included while you were generating the Teamsite license and have it enabled.

Thats it if you do have it then you are all set to make transition to standalone.

Now that you told us what you were trying to do yes you can configure standalone to write into same tables as that of DAS, all you need to do is define your DD config files accordingly, your group names will be tables names as defined in DAS and also be sure to have maintain same column structures.
