"Unable to resolve Node name lscsruntime. Check your node name"

Please let me know ...

Thanks,

Your deployment is trying to reference a target node named "lscsruntime" which is not defined in your odnodes.xml file, and it therefore doesn't know where to send the content.

Asim1

Thank you Rick.

Another question: Can we add two LSCSRuntime node into odnodes.xml file. Is this possible?

2of5_ML.pdf

2of5_ML.rptdesign

Rick Poulin

You can add as many nodes as you want, but it doesn't mean your deployment will reference them. You should look up replication farms in the OD deployment guide. As an aside, it looks like you're using the PLC workflow and there are tons of threads on here about changing that OOTB deployment, including how to deploy to multiple hosts. Multiple LSDS targets is easy, LSCS targets not so much.

Yes, I would like to deploy my site/page(s) into multiple hosts (runtime servers) using Work Flow.

I was unable to find out any thread could you please let me know...

Thanks. Much appreciate

Asim1

Rick. I created ReplicationFarm tag under odnodes.xml.

Do I need to update lscs-authoring.xml file, add another RunTime (WebServer 2) information. Right know, I have Runtime (Web Server 1) information under lscs-authoring.xml inside "production" tag

Rick Poulin

Start by reading the manuals.
Author Install Guide > Configure LSCS > Content and Metadata Deployment > Customize Deployment > Fan-out Deployment

ReportTimestampIssue.rptdesign

Thanks Rick. I followed your suggestion.

Now I'm getting this error:

Failed, status code is 5, status message is Target website.tdc.com (LiveSiteRuntime.MYDEFINITIONNAME) has status FAILED
Target website.tdc.com (localhost.MYDEFINITIONNAME) has status FAILED

Thanks and much appreciated your help.

Crsb

Failed, status code is 5, status message is Target website.tdc.com (LiveSiteRuntime.MYDEFINITIONNAME) has status FAILED
Target website.tdc.com (localhost.MYDEFINITIONNAME) has status FAILED
.

How about you post a useful OD error msgs from deployment logs? OD-home/logs/*

Did you fail to notice that little nugget of information? Look at the receiver logs and lscs.log on the target side for additional information. "Error code 5" usually has to do with the odAdapter import into LSCS, so lscs.log will probably have a stack trace. The receiver logs specific to the import adapter may help too.
