32 bit libraries for OD on Linux 64

baretto

can anyone tell me IF OD 7.1 requires the following 32 bit library to be installed on new 64 bit Red Hat OS. THE OD install guide says....

check the following:

rpm --checksig -v libstdc++32-3.2.2-5.fdr.0.rh73.i386.rpm

if nothing found install the following:

rpm -i libstdc++32-3.2.2-5.fdr.0.rh73.i386.rpm

I could perhaps understand if we were upgrading but this fresh install

thx

Yes this is required else fresh install of OD might fail.
