Customization on Conditions and Actions in LiveSite 7.1

Hi,
How to customize Conditions and Actions in LiveSite 7.1.
Can anyone give me some inputs regarding this?.

itePublisher Dev Guide 7.1 is not available in Support Site.

The customization is done via vebalization XML/XSL that is in the iwadmin branch. What type of customization are you looking to do?

By the way, the dev guide is almost finished, so I would check with support if they can give you the availability date on it.

I want to add custom Conditions and Actions.
for example: i need to add one custom ConditionSet and also a new Action, In which i need to retrieve the content based on our custom metadata(ex: expireddate - needs to show current date).Currently we have options to retrieve content based on content type,Locale,Author mail and content categories.

Can you please provide the steps to achieve this?

What are the files needs to add/modify?.

I found out that latest 7.x documentation was finished few days ago. Can you request that from support, it explains how to do this. If you have further questions feel free to post them.

Essentially for conditions you will have to create a new condition verbalization and for actions you will have to create a new verbalization and new content retriever method that it will use (you can copy existing and modify, SampleContentRetrievers.java).

I see a pretty extensive write-up in the TeamSite SitePublisher's Developer's Guide Revision 1 dated Oct 2010 about verbalizations. I'm part way through it, but on page 168 it clearly states "update the related i18n filles with the new categories and labels."

Unless I missed it (multiple times) "i18n files" is not defined/described/discussed/documented anywhere in any manual that I've downloaded.

The i18n (internationalization) files are sets of key/value pairs recorded in a DCT that appears to approximate Java properties files. If and how that works with Java Locales, I have no idea.. but I would venture that the manual refers to the DCRs at
/iwadmin/main/livesite/i18n/WORKAREA/shared/templatedata/LiveSite/i18n/data/com/interwoven/livesite/rules
