Integrating workflow with OpenDeploy

TeamSite installation program installs the following files that are required for
integration with OpenDeploy:
???? wft_opendeploy.xml—Deployment configuration file
???? wft_opendeploy.ipl—Perl script that starts the deployment
???? wft_opendeploy.cfg—OpenDeploy configuration file which provides a mapping between the branch name and the corresponding deployment attributes (node name and the target directory) required for deployment.

These files are installed in iw-home/local/config/wft/solutions.

Is wft_opendeploy.xml deploymnent configuration file is the one which includes definition , replicationfarm, deployment and log details ? If yes, then isnt this file supposed to be on OpenDeploy server directory ? Secondly, ho come this file is installed by TeamSite directly ? Isnt it user created ?
OR is tthis deployment configuration file altogether different from user created deployment configuration file on Opendeploy ?

Those are older technology (WFT) solutions. They do not work out of the box as part of workflows anymore (though this is easily modified). I still use them often but the recent approach to doing this is to use the URL tasks.

If you are using a WFT in use for a while, then it may be used.

You can have tried it to see what happened much faster than waiting for a response. Yes that is an OD config file. But since TS is often installed before OD, the installer cannot really put it in the correct spot. You can copy it, or maybe hire Smitty to do that, I think he is competent enough for that.
