change value of ceiling dir conditionally

Hi,

i have a browse field item in my DCT with a ceiling dir value set as "/". It opens the browse by default in a folder structure.

there is another checkbox in the DCT. i want that if i check that checkbox in the DCT, based upon the check, the ceiling dir value should be different i.e. normally ceiling dir will open in one folder structure else based upon the checkbox, it will open in other folder structure.

I don't remember the actual coding - you *might* be able to find it via the Forum Search - but basically you have to use straight JavaScript code (not FormAPI) to access the field and change the parameter (non-trivial since FormsPublisher does not provide a clean way to access raw field information)

Alternatively, you can write your own Browse utility that takes parameters and use FormAPI onCallout handler to adjust the parameters passed to it based on whether or not the checkbox is selected.
