Justification for TS_IMP user account?

Having to justify why Teamsite needs a local account named ts_imp on the my windows ts 6.7.2 server as opposed to setting the user up in active directory. Can't find documentation anywhere detailing this. Help?

i think this is used by teamsite for enabling preview via IIS.

As far as I recall, TS Impersonation User account (TSIMP) should not necessarily be local.

Search knowledge base with something like "TeamSite Impersonation User", I remember an article that
described what privileges should be assigned to TSIMP Domain User
